Indigenous Led
Child Care
- Location: 1770 Courtwood
- Open year round, 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
- Fees associated with the program (Please see Indigenous Led Child Care Page)
- Children must be between the ages of 0-6 years old to be considered for enrollment
- Open to all children and families however priority will be given to Indigenous children and families
- Children with special needs will be encouraged to participate in the program and will do our best to accommodate these children if appropriate resources can be secured.
- Once the initial number of spaces is filled, parents may place their child on a waiting list. Children on the waiting list are prioritized based on City of Ottawa prioritization criteria rather than on a first come first served basis.
Aboriginal
Head Start
- Location: 297 Olmsted
- September to June, 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
- No fees associated with the program
- Children must be between the ages of 2.5-6 years old to be considered for enrollment
- Children and families must identify as First Nations, Inuit or Metis
- Children with special needs will be encouraged to participate in the program and will do our best to accommodate these children if appropriate resources can be secured
- Once the initial number of spaces is filled, parents may place their child on a waiting list. Children on the waiting list are prioritized based on need rather than on a first come first served basis.
